Children’s Parliament- evening school children, Rainbow Nagar On 28.12.2022 the evening school children at Rainbow Nagar met together for the Children’s parliament. The Program Manager Mrs. Mary Slessor facilitated a discussion among the members about the purpose of the children’s parliament. The children interacted well and got an idea about the main purpose of the Children’s parliament – to discuss the problems faced in the community and take the possible steps to solve it. Computer session for the evening school children at Rainbow Nagar On 28.12.2022 Mr. Sushant Yadav, Volunteer from IT field took a computer session for the evening school children at Rainbow Nagar. The children were taught to switched on and turn off the computer, to open a folder, to type a word document, using note pad, sending e mail, attaching files in mail etc. It was a new session for most of the children. The festival of Christmas, which is celebrated on 25 December every year, has evolved over two eras into a global secular and religious celebration. Today, Christmas is a much-awaited festival for families and friends to get together and exchange gifts and cards. On 26.12.2022 the evening school children at Muthialpet celebrated Christmas. The children danced for Christmas songs. Games were conducted for the children by the BSW interns from KMCT Arts and Science College, Kuttippuram, Kerela. Skill Development Program for the Janani home children at Colas Nagar Fly Higher (FHI) enables young people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by empowering them to deal effectively with the challenges of life through 21st-century skill education. On December 18, 2022 Prime Trust along with the fly higher India team conducted a life skill development program for the children at Janani home, Colas Nagar. Christmas Crib in Janani Home Christmas crib represents how Jesus was born. Christmas crib exhibits figures that represent infant Jesus, his mother, Mary, and her husband, Joseph. There are various other characters that are part of the Christmas crib. These characters include shepherds, sheep and angels. All these characters are displayed near the manger in a barn (or cave) which is projected to accommodate farm animals. A donkey and an ox are also a part of this scene and Magi and their camels are also included.
