Prime Trust helps improves a family with financial crisis through Micro Credit Program With the support of LACIM, France, Prime Trust was able to help Mrs. Poorani (41yrs) of the Akshaya Chittu kuruvi self help group at Anandapuram with Rs 10,000/- to enhance her cow farming business in Anandapuram village, Puducherry. Her husband Mr. Ramesh (45yrs) is involved in agriculture. The income from the milk production helps them repay her loan. Awareness session on HIV/AIDS for the evening school children at Muthialpet On 03.12.2022, an awareness session on HIV/AIDS was conducted for the evening school children at Muthialpet by Mrs. Mary Slessor, Program Manager. The session started with a game. The participants were asked about what they knew about HIV/AIDS. The ways of transmission, how it is not transmitted, HIV test, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome was explained. It was a new subject to most of them. Hand bills on the HIV/AIDS Act, 2017 and facts and information about HIV/AIDS was given to the participants. The children responded with interest. Children’s parliament in Muthialpet evening school The Children’s Parliament is a group of children of a particular village/ neighborhood who come together as a group for activities, learning, and to represent their interests and opinion to the decision makers of the village/neighborhood. “Equipping children with the basic concept of the Children’s Parliament provide an opportunity to learn ‘life skills’ for example, about their rights, health, and education as a result they become aware and contribute in decision making process of administrative system through their life skills learning.” On 25.11.2022 the children’s parliament was formed in the Muthialpet evening school.
