Prime Trust Founder and Managing Director Mr. S.M. Arasu and LACIM staff Mr. Denish Kumar distributes stationary to evening school children at Rainbow Nagar and Muthialpet.
Prime Trust Founder and Managing Director Mr. S.M. Arasu and LACIM staff Mr. Denish Kumar distributes stationary to evening school children at Rainbow Nagar and Muthialpet.
Providing stationary such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and other basic supplies ensures that evening school children have the necessary tools to engage in their studies effectively. Without these resources, students may struggle to participate fully in classroom activities and complete their assignments. Stationery items enable students to take notes, complete assignments, and participate in various learning activities. This promotes active learning and helps students better understand and retain the material taught in evening classes. Distributing stationary helps level the playing field for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background. It ensures that every child has an equal opportunity to succeed academically, irrespective of their financial circumstances. When children have the required stationary, they are more likely to feel confident and motivated in their studies. This can have a positive impact on their self-esteem and overall academic performance. It is a small yet significant step toward building a more educated, empowered, and inclusive society.
On 16.09.2023 stationary items were distributed to the children in the Muthialpet and Rainbow Nagar evening schools by the Prime Trust Founder and Managing Director Mr. S.M. Arasu and LACIM staff Mr. Denish Kumar . About 30 children were benefitted through this program.

Orientation visit of BSW students from Kasthurba college for women, Villianur, Puducherry to Prime Educational and Social Trust
Orientation visit of BSW students from Kasthurba college for women, Villianur, Puducherry to Prime Educational and Social Trust
Orientation visits for social work students to non-profit organizations are highly valuable for several reasons: These visits offer students the opportunity to engage in experiential learning. They can see firsthand how non-profit organizations operate, understand their mission, and witness the impact of their work in the community. This practical experience can enhance their understanding of social work concepts and theories learned in the classroom. Visiting non-profit organizations helps students gain a deeper understanding of the social issues they will be addressing as future social workers. They can witness the specific challenges faced by individuals and communities and learn about the various approaches used to address these issues. Orientation visits provide students with the chance to network with professionals in the field. They can meet staff members, volunteers, and clients, allowing them to build relationships that may be beneficial for their future careers. Observing the dedication and passion of individuals working in non-profit organizations can inspire and motivate students. Visiting non-profit organizations encourages critical thinking. Students can assess the strengths and weaknesses of different programs and interventions, helping them develop a more analytical and evidence-based approach to their work. These visits allow students to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-life situations. It bridges the gap between theory and practice, helping students connect academic concepts to the practical challenges they will face in their careers.
On 27.09.2023 about 11 BSW II year students with a faculty from the Kasthurba college for women, Villinur visited Prime Educational and social trust for an orientation. The staff of the nonprofit gave a detailed explanation about the various projects of the nonprofit. The students clarified their doubts. It was an interactive session.

Staff meeting at Prime Educational and Social trust
Staff meeting at Prime Educational and Social trust
Staff meetings provide a platform for open and transparent communication among team members. Nonprofits often have diverse teams of employees, volunteers, and board members who need to stay informed about the organization's activities, goals, and challenges. Regular meetings facilitate the exchange of information, updates, and feedback, helping everyone stay on the same page. Nonprofits rely on the collective efforts of their staff and volunteers to achieve their mission. Staff meetings foster collaboration and teamwork by bringing individuals together to discuss projects, share ideas, and brainstorm solutions. Staff meetings help ensure that all team members are aligned with the nonprofit's mission, vision, and values. By discussing the organization's purpose and long-term objectives during meetings, staff members can feel a stronger sense of purpose and motivation in their work. Staff meetings provide a forum for discussing important decisions, evaluating options, and reaching agreements. Staff meetings allow for the identification of problems and the collective brainstorming of solutions. Regular staff meetings provide an opportunity to review progress on projects and initiatives. Nonprofits should always strive for improvement and growth. Staff meetings can include discussions on lessons learned from past experiences, feedback on ongoing programs, and ideas for improving operations, thereby promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
