It’s birthday time at Muthialpet evening school – 08.08.2023
The children in Muthialpet evening school celebrated Nithiya Lakshmi's (7th STD) birthday! Cake cutting is always a highlight of birthday celebrations, and having other students from the evening school join in added to the festive spirit. It was wonderful to see the students coming together to share in the joyous occasion. It was a heartwarming gesture that showed the sense of community and camaraderie among the students. It's not just about the celebration itself, but also about fostering connections and making Nithiya Lakshmi feel special on her birthday. This kind of shared participation can create wonderful memories and strengthen the bond between classmates.

Birthday wishes to our Prime Trust Staff!!
On the memorable day of July 11th, 2023, the corridors of Janani Home resonated with the cheerful voices of celebration. It was a special occasion - the birthday of Prime Trust staff, Kannadasan Sir. The home was abuzz with the contagious excitement of the children. The children gathered around, their eyes wide with anticipation. As the room grew quiet, they all sang a cheerful rendition of the birthday song. After the song, it was time for the highlight of the day - the cake cutting. Kannadasan Sir, surrounded by children, held the knife with a joyful smile. The room burst into applause and cheers as he sliced into the cake, the children clapping excitedly. Everyone shared the cake, the children's faces brightening with joy as they enjoyed the sweet treat.

Volunteers at Janani Home – 29.07.2023
Volunteers at Janani Home – 29.07.2023
Volunteers can make a significant difference in the lives of children, especially in terms of education. Teaching English, a global lingua franca, is particularly useful as it can open many opportunities for the children in the future. The enjoyment and engagement of children during learning activities is crucial. It not only helps to increase their understanding of the subject matter but also motivates them to continue learning. Enjoyment can also create positive associations with the learning process, which can be particularly beneficial for language learning. On 29.07.2023 it was a wonderful opportunity for the volunteers from Dindivanam and Neyveli to spend their time and effort to educate the children at Janani Home.

A privileged visit to the Kattunayakan tribe community at Neyveli
A privileged visit to the Kattunayakan tribe community at Neyveli
The Kattunayakan tribe is an indigenous community primarily found in the southern part of India, particularly in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. They are considered one of the scheduled tribes in India, which means they are officially recognized as historically disadvantaged communities that require special attention and support for their development.
The Kattunayakan people have traditionally lived in forested regions and have been dependent on hunting, gathering, and forest-based livelihoods. Over time, as forest areas have been subject to conservation efforts and development projects, the traditional lifestyle of the Kattunayakan tribe has been impacted.
On 29.07.2023 the Prime Trust Founder and Managing Director Mr. S.M. Arasu visited and interacted with the people of the Kattunayakan tribe. Sparingly used clothes were distributed to the people. Prime trust is planning to start an evening school for the children in the community.
