Basic sex education for the girls in Janani Home

Sex education is an educational principle that raises awareness about various sexual changes and processes in the body. It also raises awareness in order to protect people from misconceptions about various sex-related issues. On 04.05.2023 the MSW intern from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery – Kerela took a session on basic sex education for the girls in Janani Home. The topics covered during the session are proper terms for body parts, privacy, stereotypes, basics in reproduction, the importance of consent, and the difference between gender and sex.
