English and Mathematics sessions in Janani Home during Sundays
English and Mathematics sessions in Janani Home during Sundays
Maths and English are foundational skills for young learners. It is important to educate children well, by giving them the necessary skills of Maths and English, which helps them to build confidence, improve their social and communications skills, and understand the world around them. These two invaluable skills contribute to a child’s success, as they transition from childhood to adulthood.
Rajasimha Perumal of class 12 and his sister Kavineha Perumal of class 10 are volunteering to teach English (to read and speak) and basic math including Algebra during the Sundays for the children in Janani Home. They wish to incorporate spoken English through games and board games for the young girls in the forthcoming Sundays. The children enjoy the sessions and are eager to learn. The pictures are from sessions taken on 21.05.2023.
