Prime Trust conducts summer camp for the evening school children at Muthialpet A wider spectrum of childhood experiences results in holistically developed individuals with greater confidence. The MSW intern from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery – Kerela is handling summer camp sessions for the evening school children at Muthialpet. Communication in English, public speaking skills, self introduction, English reading, idioms and phrases and games were the different sessions of the camp. The children participated actively and were curious. The summer camp provided an opportunity for the intern to interact with the children and to develop her skills. On 04.05.2023 the MSW intern from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery – Kerela took a session on basic sex education for the girls in Janani Home. The topics covered during the session are proper terms for body parts, privacy, stereotypes, basics in reproduction, the importance of consent, and the difference between gender and sex.
