It comes under Mambazhapattu Panchayath. Visiting women's self-help groups (SHGs) in a village is of significant importance for various reasons, as it can have far-reaching positive impacts on both the individuals involved and the community as a whole. SHGs often focus on savings and microcredit activities. Health camp has been planned to be conducted in the village after discussing with the community leaders. Starting a tuition center for the school children has also been proposed.
